Celebrate Burns Night in the Norwich area

Do you know your “sonsie face” from your “swall’d kytes”? Then you are probably a fan of the poetry of Robbie Burns, Scotland’s most well known and best-loved poet.

Every year people celebrate his life and poetry on what has become known as Burns Night and is held on or near 25th January, Robbie Burn's birthday.

From bagpipes and haggis with neeps and tatties, to plenty of tots of whiskey, the Burns Supper is always a great night out. And you don’t have to travel to Scotland to join in! Burns Suppers are being held throughout the Norwich area to celebrate the poets’ birthday.
