What's your dream holiday?
My dream holiday would be a peaceful and relaxing break sailing on the Norfolk Broads. I'd take my family on a classic hire boat and enjoy the views over the wide-open countryside, rambles along the river-bank, picnics by the water, cycling around picturesque villages, and a fine pint of Woodforde’s Wherry in a riverside pub (or two!) - fantastic!
What do you do in your spare time?
I'm a horn player and my main interest outside work is music. We're so lucky to have an abundance of excellent music-making here in Norwich, and I play with a number of different orchestras including the Norwich Philharmonic, the Academy of St. Thomas and the Mozart Orchestra. My hands are also full with my twin boys & walking our dog Ollie!

What can you see from your window/desk?
From my desk I can see the office brochure cupboard. It’s stocked with all our publications ShopNorwich Maps, Visitor Maps, Norwich Norfolk Broads and Countryside Destination Brochures, Eating Out Guides. All ready and waiting to be posted out to potential visitors to Norwich and the greater area.
If you weren’t working at VisitNorwich what would you be doing?
I would have the cutest ever Cupcake Stall on Norwich Market where I would be baking and selling delicious cupcakes.

Where's your favourite place?
Being born and bred in Norfolk, I’ve always been a fan of this area. I now live in Norwich and walk to work every day – it’s amazing how much more you see! I love the buzz of this wonderfully compact city but still adore escaping to the countryside for long leisurely walks.
What’s your special talent?
I’m a keen thai boxer and have been told I’ve got a mean right hook! It’s a great way to unwind after a busy day at the office.

What's the best thing about your job?
I think the best thing has to be the people - both those I work with and those I've met through work. Working for VisitNorwich has given me the opportunity to visit some fantastic places in the area, and made me realise how much more there is to see and do!
What phrase do you overuse?
I think that would have to be "to be honest". Although, to be honest I haven't used it that much recently - oops, until now that is!

If you weren’t at work where would you be?
If I weren’t at work I would probably be walking my dog Rosie in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Pick a footpath, any footpath and explore somewhere new!
What type of cocktail would you be?
If I were a cocktail I think I would be a Cosmopolitan, because I like to think I’m fairly sophisticated with a twist of lime and I’d be served in a swish glass!

Where’s your favourite place?
The Roman town Venta Icenorvm at Caistor St Edmunds. I've been going there since I was a child. It's a lovely peaceful place to walk and explore. I like to take a picnic to have by the river. Venta Icenorvm is steeped in history and it's so good that it's unspoilt by commercialisation.
What’s your dream holiday?
My dream holiday would be in the summer in a cottage overlooking the sea in a small seaside village with a pretty harbour and long walks along the cliffs. In the evenings I would sit outside a harbourside pub watching the world go by.
