Nature

The Norfolk Broads is a fantastic place to view the wildlife. Unique to the Broads is the swallowtail butterfly and the bittern but you will also find; otters, marsh harriers and other rare wildlife. Take nature trails through woodland and fens leading to open water and visit wildlife centres, reedbeds and grazing marshes.

Fishing

The fishing season runs between 16 June and 14 March and an Environment Agency licence is required. There are plenty of places to fish either from a bank or from a boat. Fishing platforms enable wheelchair users to fish and these can be found at Rollesby Bridge and Filby Broad.
