By Road: Access the Broads via the M11/A11 and A12/A140 from London and the South East. The A14, A47, A17 and A1 provide access from the Midlands and the North.

By Train: The Bittern Line and Wherry Lines provide excellent rail services to the Broads from Norwich - stops include Acle, Brundall, Great Yarmouth, Hoveton and Wroxham, Lowestoft, Oulton Broad and Salhouse. ‘one’ operate half hourly services between London Liverpool Street and Norwich and Central Trains operate services from the Midlands via Peterborough.

Getting Around

One of the best ways to explore the Broads is on the water, be it in a cruiser, sailing boat or even canoe! You can hire many craft for just an hour, a day or longer. Alternatively why not hire a bicycle –the quiet lanes and picturesque villages around The Broads are ideal for cycling. With over 190 miles of footpaths, walkers will be spoilt for choice too. However you decide to see The Broads, their unique beauty and wildlife will ensure you’ll want to visit time and time again.
