Norwich Lanes Summer Fayre - 11 July 2010
Now in its third year, the Norwich Lanes Summer Fayre, on Sunday 11th July, is a free family event that celebrates the uniqueness of the Norwich Lanes and includes a chance to sample its diverse shopping and arts culture. The event will take place from 11am until 6pm and will include stalls selling vintage clothes, handmade crafts and foods along the length of St. Benedict’s Street as well as arts performances throughout the Norwich Lanes area, including professional circus artists ‘Twisted Fire’.
St. Gregory's Green will play host to acoustic music, comedy, circus acts and poetry recitals throughout the day with ice-cream, food stalls and cushions aplenty to help visitors enjoy the entertainment.
Other venues include the Norwich Arts Centre, the Birdcage, St. Gregory’s Church, the Rumsey Wells, the Ten Bells, St. Margaret’s Church, Frank’s Bar and the Bicycle Shop, and there will be a co-ordinated schedule of entertainment such as dance, live music, barbeques, story-tellers, exhibitions and buskers.
