Since opening in March 2007, RARE has created a real buzz in the city. Whilst predominantly meat based, RARE has an indepth menu with dishes to suit every palate. With a wonderful fish selection and vegetarian meals, this really is a must for all those you enjoy mouth watering food. Rare uses good quality, well sourced, local (where possible) food – nothing complicated just intelligent cooking and good eating. RARE offers diners the chance to tailor make their meals from the wide selection of menu options.
On the same premises stands the Mirror Bar - a cool, modern lounge bar offering a great selection of wines, beers, spirits and cocktails. An extensive wine list is available including a RARE fine wine selection.
The terrace and gardens at Rare are a fantastic way to enjoy al fresco dining or simply a few drinks of an afternoon or lunchtime.

Just a five minute stroll from the city centre, the restaurant at the Georgian House Hotel offers excellent modern day British cooking using seasonal local produce and a splendid wine list. All served in beautiful surroundings by friendly staff.
