Ice Sculpture Trail in Norwich

The 2009 Ice Sculpture Trail - is unveiled the last Sunday before Christmas, Sunday 20th December. It commences at John Lewis, Ber Street and this year's theme is Norwich at play. The sculptures are created from approximately 10 tonnes of ice and are hand-carved by a team of five over 3 months in London. They are sculpted in the Samurai tradition with Japanese tools and then delivered to Norwich at minus 25C.

This year find out who Mr Pastry was, and what rock hero played in the city. Watch live carving at The Whiffler outdoor theatre and follow the trail full of stories and memories through the heart of Norwich from Ber Street to Norwich Castle Gardens.
