CoolNorwich campaign on how to spend summer days i

VisitNorwich, the official tourism agency for the Norwich area, has launched an essential online summer 2008 guide - CoolNorwich.

The dedicated pages at www.visitnorwich.co.uk are brimming with ideas and suggestions on how to make the most of your time whilst on holiday or during the long summer school break.
Sections include free events, picnics, parks and gardens, 25 top summer attractions, favourite days and nights out recommended by the VisitNorwich team, shopping, ideas for keeping the children happy, eating out, plus ideas for where to go if it’s too hot or too wet.

Anne Patton, Sales and Marketing Executive for VisitNorwich, said: “We really want to provide people with information on the fantastic mix of free activities and events, great attractions and places to visit in the Norwich area that can be enjoyed both indoor and outdoor. Understandably the long summer holidays can be expensive for families whether they are on holiday or live locally.”

VisitNorwich is encouraging people to take advantage of the beautiful city and its surrounding countryside – open air theatres, festivals, nature reserves, guided walks, children’s days, bandstand concerts and lunchtime city centre entertainment. There really is something for everyone and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune, in fact a lot of it is totally free.

Our web pages are easy to use, offer valuable information and are updated regularly, so there is no excuse for anyone not to have something to do this summer.”
