NORWICHRISTMAS: Arrive in style on a London bus 28/11/2007

A retired 40-year old London bus will be on hand to make sure visitors to NORWICHRISTMAS arrive in style.
Between 28th November and 5th December the bus will be running a round trip taking in all the NORWICHRISTMAS venues. It will run from Theatre Royal to the train station via Castle Meadow before returning via All Saints Green, the bus station and St Giles. For as little as £1 or £3 for a round trip, passengers can hop on and off at any stop, so they can see all that NORWICHRISTMAS has to offer.

The bright red 1965 64-seat double-decker saw almost 40 years of service on Route 36 in London before being retired and is now operated by Awayadays, based in Wood Dalling near Norwich.

NORWICHRISTMAS is being brought together by many city organisations working in partnership to make the start of the 2007 Christmas shopping period a time to remember. They include
• The Forum Trust - hosting events and providing the ice rink
• Knapton Crafts – craft stalls at The Forum,
• Norwich City Council - continental Christmas market and Norwich’s local provisions market,
• Norwich Lanes, and
• Shopping centres and department stores in Norwich, including Chapelfield, The Mall, John Lewis, M&S and Jarrold.
• VisitNorwich
