The 4th Annual Mattishall Beer Festival - bigger and better than ever

For the last three years, South Green Park, Mattishall, nr. Dereham has hosted the Mattishall Beer Festival which just keeps on growing and growing. 3 years ago the Festival started with just 18 beers and the event was an instant success. Year-on-year more and more local brewers have queued up to join the party. This year over 50 barrels from over forty breweries (large and small) across East Anglia will help to celebrate a real Norfolk success story – superb local ales with character and flavour, traditional beers made by people with passion.
The Beer Festival is on 26th July this year. Gates open at midday and the event closes at midnight. Live music from 6 great local bands will provide an entertaining backdrop to the event.

There will be a bouncy castle and ten pin bowling for the children or they may enjoy just feeding the ducks!

There will be a BBQ and hog roast throughout the event where festival goers will be able to sample some of our own homemade sausages and burgers. Alternatively try the delicious dishes on offer at Café Verde, South Green Park’s café restaurant.

Demand was such last year that we are advising people to book tickets in advance as numbers are restricted due to licensing.

You can by tickets online at www.cafe-verde.co.uk
Or by calling in to Café Verde.

Lets hope the sun shines again this year but just in case, the festival beers will be inside the 90 foot marquee again so they can be enjoyed whatever the weather.
