Norwich City Council’s events team is now throwing down the gauntlet to by inviting groups to start coming up with their ideas for costumes and spectacular floats for this year’s parade.
Applications can now be submitted and all entries must be sent in by Wednesday 18 June.
Ellie Diver, events co-ordinator at Norwich City Council, said: “The Lord Mayor’s street procession is one of the best of the summer events. It is always great fun and a fantastic community celebration.
“So many people join in and the floats just seem to get better and better each year. With dancers, live bands, street entertainers and comedy - the festival really does offer something for everyone.”
