Shoppers can enjoy browsing whilst entertainers and costumed stall holders get you into the Christmas spirit. Don't miss the opportunity to buy a truly original Christmas present, a one off piece of art produced by students at the Norwich University College of the Arts from across the NUCA courses. The students will present small to medium-sized works in all medias and most works will be priced between 50p and £50. All works will be available to purchase and take home straight away.

In the past students have sold prints, paintings, Christmas cards, drawings, t-shirts, textiles, badges, bags, collages, photographs, sculpture, DVDs and postcards – a massive range of student creativity! This year the sale is taking place in the Cloisters of St. Andrews Hall on St. Georges Street, thirty seconds walk from the NUCA buildings.

We look forward to welcoming you to Festival of Christmas at Norwich Cathedral come and Celebrate the best of what Christmas has to offer in the stunning surroundings of Norwich Cathedral and embark on a traditional Christmas Festival with our Victorian Christmas on the Upper Close Green. In the Cathedral you will find the very best in shopping, with gifts to suit all ages and all tastes in avenues around the Cloisters. We have a wonderful array of food and drink with the opportunity to meet the producers as well as cookery, floral and craft demonstrations and wine masterclasses.

A fun-filled festive extravaganza for all the family, The Assembly House Christmas Fair will have something for everyone.

There’ll be stalls selling all kinds of gorgeous Christmas gifts, from edible goodies such as Christmas cakes, mince pies, Yule logs and freshly-baked biscuits to festive floral arrangements and pretty Christmas plants. Plus there’ll be plenty of ideas for presents, from jewellery and pottery to hats and crafts.

And the younger members of the family haven’t been forgotten either – there’ll be wooden toys and old -fashioned sweets plus all sorts of games and activities to keep them amused. Add in carol singers and other festive entertainment and The Assembly House Christmas Fair makes the perfect day out.
