Christmas Markets
There are 3 fantastic Christmas Markets in Norwich, two with a medieval theme held in the stunning historical buildings of Norwich Cathedral and Dragon Hall and the third, NORWICHRISTMAS, The City’s Festive Fayre offering over 80 stalls of quality local crafts and continental food and drink in the surroundings of the outdoor ice rink outside The Forum and Norwich City Hall. In addition to this feast your eyes on festive entertainment from colourful Russian circus acts to atmospheric traditional carol singers and reindeer.
If you want to sample the area outside of Norwich then head over to Blickling Hall, a magnificent Jacobean house with garden and park and one of the areas premier National Trust properties. Blickling Hall has a magical evening of crafts and carol singing and entertainment for the whole family planned for early December.
Gressenhall museum is also getting into the swing of things with a Christmas Past and Present Fair. Festive food and stalls selling wonderful presents, traditional music, historic re-enactment and Santa in his 1950s grotto!
