Norfolk & Norwich Festival 2012

Now in its 18th year, NOS has established itself as one of the largest and most successful open studio schemes in the country. It provides the opportunity for artists across the county to show and sell their work to a curious and enthusiastic audience, primarily in their own studios, thereby maintaining and broadening the audience for local visual arts work. It also creates a focus for local artists and audiences to meet, spark interest and nurture enthusiasm for their work.

Lord Mayor’s Celebration (Norwich City Council event)

Four days of fun and celebration, including a street procession, fireworks, music festival, funfair, outdoor theatre, cinema and comedy, dancers, street artists and lots more.

EDP Norfolk Food Festival
September/October 2012
Highlights of the annual festival which is becoming larger every year include: A Moveable Feast when more than 600 diners will enjoy a three course dinner at three different restaurants across the city of Norwich; the Norfolk Food Awards which single out the success stories of the county’s food producers; the Annual Battle of the Bangers when the county’s leading butchers compete for the public voting of the best local sausage and there will also be a large food fayre to feature chef’s kitchen demonstrations and tastings.

The Norfolk Food Festival will also include over 300 events which are organised by individuals, schools, companies and other community groups.
