Pre-Booked Events:
Old favourites will be available again, and for some you will need to book early to avoid disappointment. Tours such as the Great Hospital, Bowhill and Elliott’s and the City Hall clock tower always fill up quickly because numbers have to be limited for safety reasons. Some venues, especially the private homes, are just very small - for example the regency Gothic House, or the upper rooms at the Britons Arms can only accommodate a few people at a time. If you are disappointed for some events though, there is still plenty to do.
Some of the events take you a bit further into the history of Norwich - literally or metaphorically! You can get underground in person, by visiting beautiful vaulted Medieval undercrofts, scary dungeons and cramped atmospheric Victorian cellars!

Drop-in Events:
All 32 Medieval parish churches are opening their doors for at least one day, even those not currently in use. Have a look around the Maddermarket Theatre or watch some short performances of historic dances - you can even join in! If that all sounds like a bit too much, take a city sightseeing tour by bus.
