Black Beauty is an 1877 novel by local English author Anna Sewell.  Published in Norwich by Jarrold & Sons, Anna’s novel went on to sell over 50 million copies worldwide. This year is the 140th anniversary and to celebrate there are number of events and things to do happening in Norwich to commemorate this wonderful local literary hero.
