Studying in Norwich and the Norwich area

Students love Norwich! The city rated among the top 10 in a recent student poll of university cities and towns, for its nightlife, shops, transport, community and facilities. Many students choose to stay on in Norwich after their studies, because they feel so at home here. It’s also an ideal place for learning the English language. Norwich is a small, friendly city, but has a thriving cosmopolitan cultural and social life. There is fantastic countryside right on the doorstep but London is just a couple of hours away.

University of East Anglia

Opened in 1963, the UEA now has 13,000 students with a choice of over 300 undergraduate and higher degree courses.

Norwich City College

Based on Ipswich Road, City College provides education and training within the community, with over 20,000 enrolments each year.

Norwich School of Art and Design

Situated in central Norwich, with a reputation for excellence in courses in art, craft, design, media and creative technology.

Wymondham College

A foundation boarding and day school with Technology College status. With over 1000 students, the college has rated in the top 3 comprehensive schools in the country.

Easton College

Offers vocational courses with qualifications such as First, National and Higher National Diplomas in subjects including agriculture, countryside management sport and recreation.
