From Friday 12th May 2017 00:00 to Sunday 21st May 2017 00:00

Part of the Norfolk & Norwich festival.

A giant inflatable moon featuring detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface will appear at The Forum for the first week of the Festival. With an atmospheric soundscape, relax on deckchairs and bask in the moonlight. A line-up of lunar-inspired live music, dance and performance will be happening beneath the moon, including Rabo de Foguete, Total Ensemble Theatre Company and Norwich Cathedral Choir.

Luke Jerram is known worldwide for the large scale public artworks he creates which encourage public participation. His global sensation Play Me I’m Yours left pianos on the streets of 50 cities from London to Melbourne and New York, and they have been enjoyed by more than 10 million people worldwide. His installation Park and Slide caught the public’s imagination as huge crowds turned out to watch people hurtle down a giant water slide in Bristol.

This event is free.
