Cycling

To see Norwich and the surrounding areas from a different perspective, hop on a bike. Norwich boasts seven colour-coded cycle routes, totalling 58 miles, known as pedalways.

Bowthorpe – Broadland Business Park
Drayton – Whitlingham
Lakenham – Aviation Academy
N&N Hospital – Heartsease
Wymondham – Sprowston

You can download a pdf version of the Norwich cycle map, which features the seven pedalways, from the Norwich City Council website.

Alternatively, the Norwich Cycle Map for £4.95 can be purchased from the Tourist Information Centre. This map includes 4 leisure cycling routes in and around Norwich.

If you do not have your own bike, you can easily hire one in the city.
Cycle hire is available at Norwich Train Station under the Greater Anglia Bike & Go Scheme, simply register online and collect your bike after the train journey, from just £3.80 per 24 hours.
