Family Movement and Dance

From Thursday 24th October 2019 10:30 to 12:00

We are hosting our very own week of workshops inspired by our Creative Matters season: Finding refuge and sanctuary. Come along to the theatre and take part in something fun

Every year 4,000 species of birds take to the sky’s searching for food, warmth and safe place to call home. They embark on an epic journey from north to south, east to west, facing many dangers along the way. They have to be clever, using all their amazing senses, many stick together travelling with their families in a flock amongst other families. On arrival they hope to find sanctuary, safety, a new place to call home.

In this 1.5 hour family workshop we will explore the themes of the bird’s journey and look at what home means to us. Families will explore together in this playful and thoughtful creative workshop.
