Norwich Bus Bash 2017

From Sunday 13th August 2017 11:00 to 16:00

If you're at a loose end on Sunday 13th August, why not come along and enjoy a day out with a difference with us!

We're gearing up for our first ever Norwich Bus Bash with some great family fun events taking place during the day and all proceeds going towards the East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) Nook Appeal.

We'll be opening the doors to our Norwich depot at Roundtree Way to the public from 11am until 4pm so you can come along and to see and learn about what goes on behind the scenes of a working bus depot. This depot recently saw a £2.2 million investment in improved facilities, increasing the number of buses that can be based there.

At the depot you'll find...

  • Guided tours, demonstrating how a bus depot works
  • Get your photo taken in the cab of a bus
  • Take a ride through the bus wash
  • Spin and Win competition using a big wheel to win prizes
  • In addition, there will be a display of heritage buses and a "rainbow" line-up of buses in each of the Network Norwich colour-coded routes livery

On top of this will be a FREE bus service that will be operating between the city centre and Roundtree Way depot throughout the day. This will see a variety of heritage buses, some of which used to operate around the city many years ago and now lovingly preserved by individuals and groups from the local area and beyond. AND the whole day is completely free of charge!
