From Thursday 14th November 2019 18:00 to 22:00
Every year from 6 o’clock jovial crowds gather outside Norwich City Hall, located in the beating heart of the city, to officially welcome the start of the festive season. It’s Christmas. And it’s quite a party.
Enjoy a parade with Father Christmas, piping hot street-food, music, mayhem and of course the ever-irrisistable (and most Instagramed) attraction at this time of year – The Tunnel of Light.
The official count down starts and lights across the city centre glow from 7pm, just as fireworks shoot from the roof of Jarrolds independent department store.
To get in on the action use #MyTunnelOfLight as the madness begins.
PS :Top Tip - Head to Norwich Market stall Sir Toby’s Beers - Norwich’s smallest bar, for a local tipple or glass of Gluhwein . Wrap up because this is an al fresco winter treat, and it’s popular. See you there, cheers.
