The University of East Anglia is hosting a series of five free public lectures sponsored by the Royal Institute of Philosophy. The lectures will run from 22 January to 19 March.
In modern democracies, we are supposedly self-governing. But what does it mean to govern ourselves? And do we, really? These are the questions being explored in ‘Being Governed’, the 2019 Philosophy Public Lecture Series. Lectures start at 18:15 and will be followed by a Q&A.
Free to attend, all welcome. Some events are followed by a free drinks reception.
