Cancer affects many of us on apersonal scale and puts huge strain on our healthcare system.
Come learn how local researchers are developing innovative ways of combating cancer, controlling it’s ability to spread around our body via blood vessels, involving good bacteria to protect us, and restricting its ‘diet’ to reduce its growth.
Pint of Science is an international 3 day festival which sees thousands of scientists standing up in pubs across the world and sharing their research. The festival provides a chance for the public to learn about exciting local science directly from the scientists, with the opportunity to ask questions over a pint!
Tickets cost £4 and can be purchased via the Pint of Science website
