Pint of Science - Food for the Future

From Tuesday 16th May 2017 19:00 to 21:30

Plant biologists from the John Innes Centre introduce cutting-edge scientific techniques to meet the challenges of agriculture in our rapidly changing world. How will building bigger grains of wheat and engineering purple tomatoes help feed a growing population and improve quality of life?

Pint of Science is an international 3 day festival which sees thousands of scientists standing up in pubs across the world and sharing their research. The festival provides a chance for the public to learn about exciting local science directly from the scientists, with the opportunity to ask questions over a pint!

Tickets cost £4 and can be purchased via the Pint of Science website
