From Wednesday 17th May 2017 19:00 to 21:30
Local scientists offer an insight into the enticing cup-shaped traps of carnivorous plants, and investigate how complex signals are relayed along molecular highways from root to shoot without any nervous system or blood stream.
Pint of Science is an international 3 day festival which sees thousands of scientists standing up in pubs across the world and sharing their research. The festival provides a chance for the public to learn about exciting local science directly from the scientists, with the opportunity to ask questions over a pint!
Tickets cost £4 and can be purchased via the Pint of Science website
