From Sunday 1st July 2018 to Monday 31st December 2018
This display explores how beliefs and traditions are linked to the figures sculpted and used by different communities in Burma and Indonesia (predominantly Java and Bali). The exhibition includes sculpture from Borobudur, Burmese watercolours by M. T. Hla, temple panels, Loro Blonyo and a range of other paintings, photographs and sculpture.
