Guildhall Enterprises in conjunction with Norwich Ghost Walks are pleased to announce that following a successful first season of the Ghostly Dinners that new dates for the autumn can now be booked.
A high class two course meal will be served in the Britannia Restaurant in the Guildhall at 7.00 pm. Interspersed through this will be classic ghost stories of Olde Norwich told by Norwich Ghost Walk’s Man in Black assisted by his team of phantoms.
After the meal there will be a guided tour of the building with the Man in Black who will regale diners with the true stories of this wonderful building and, of course, its ghosts. This will include a descent into the old police cells and the famous under-croft.
After the return to the restaurant there will be the opportunity for a nerve steadying nightcap or tea/coffee . The licenced bar will be open all evening.
Guildhall Enterprises Chief Executive, Davina Tanner, said ‘The feedback that we have had to the first eighteen sell out events has been very positive. The combination of this iconic grade one listed building, good food, and Manin Black’s legendary storytelling have made this a must do event. We are delighted to host more of these unique evenings’.
The Man in Black said ‘The combination of the stories of this iconic building and, of course, it’s ghosts, has proved compelling to our visitors throughout our first season.’
