From Tuesday 31st October 2017 18:00 to 20:00
Join us if you dare for an evening full of eerie entertainment, freakish fun, mischievous tricks and delightful treats! Spooky City returns to Norwich this Halloween on Tuesday 31 October. Gather outside The Forum from 6pm in your creepy costumes ready for the parade to head through the city streets finishing in Chapelfield Gardens with ghoulish activities galore.
New parade route
The parade this year will start at Millennium Plain at 6:30pm and end at Chapelfield Gardens.
On leaving Millennium Plain it will go along St Peters Street, down Gaol Hill, along the front of the market along Gentlemen's Walk, then up Theatre Street to Chapelfield Gardens. Who knows what sinister sights you may encounter along the way, as stilt walkers and street performers creep about the city?
The park will be bustling with ghoulish goings on – music, stilt walkers and a fire show; plenty of tricks along with heaps of treats.
Councillor Alan Waters, leader of Norwich City Council said: “Spooky City is yet another highlight in the city’s jam-packed events calendar.
This event, now in its fifth year, gets more popular each time, with more and more people getting into the ‘spirit’.
Our thanks go to all the partners and performers who are working with us to put on this excellent entertainment.”
