Norwich Guildhall is one of the oldest in the country and the largest outside London. It was built in 1407 – 1411 to accommodate the city administration, courts and prisons.
Visit the 13th century undercroft and dungeon, the police cells, Victorian Court room, the Tudor ‘Mayor’s Court Room and the Georgian Court room – now a café.
Cost £5 includes a cup of tea or coffee in the café.
No advance booking required, meet and pay the guide in the Guildhall foyer.
