Strangers’ Hall is a delightful museum to celebrate Christmas and this year for the first time the perfect setting as they present Victorian Father Christmas visits themed with the famous poem ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, creating an authentic and exciting immersive experience for children.
See Father Christmas in his workshop and receive a present and a picture, then join in a traditional Christmas as Clement C Moore’s magical tale of stockings and sugar-plums come to life with costumed characters, entertainment, projections, story-time, and Christmas crafts including ‘Ma in her cap’ and Victorian-style entertainers.
Elf helpers will be around to help children enjoy their visit plus there’s a hunt around the museum for mice and mulled punch with seasonal goodies. Finally, have a picture taken outdoors in front of a magical Christmas scene.
