UK Green Film Festival - Mark Kermode introduces

The UK Green Film Festival @ UEA presents a week-long programme of free events and film screenings that draw upon and bring together intersecting interests in environmental issues and film.

To launch the programme, renowned film critic, Mark Kermode (The Culture Show, Newsnight Review) will introduce his own favourite film, Silent Running (Doug Trumbull, 1972), at a free public screening. The landmark environmental film will then be shown in The Enterprise Centre auditorium and after the screening Mark will sign copies of his books.

12 - 6pm Interactive Green Exhibition in the Enterprise Centre Foyer - including displays from environmental groups and short film screenings from the East Anglian Film Archive and STREVA volcanic research project
2 - 2.45pm Mark Kermode will talk about Silent Running
2.45 - 4.30pm Film Screening
4.30pm onwards Discussion and book signing.

This event is free to attend and open to all, however booking is essential.
