Clashes over water are as frequent and predictable as they are devastating.
This talk will explore how water resources contribute to slow-burn conflicts, and suffer from violent ones. Focusing on the Middle East, Prof Zeitoun will also review the limits and merits of international law, and make a pitch for more engaged research.
You don’t have to be an expert to enjoy this free public lecture, and there will be a chance to meet the speaker at a drinks reception after the talk.
