‘VALENTINES CAT PLUSHIE MAKING WORKSHOP – 2.5 hours
Saturday February 7th: come and make a cute Valentines Cat Plushie with Valentines accessories! 6pm til 8.30pm.
Join us at The Cat House for a Valentines cat plushie making workshop using colourful fuzzy socks, then add a mini plushie heart with an emboidered message to your loved one, or a mini valentines card, or just keep the plushie for yourself! It is also possible to make it for your cat as a cat toy, and it can be filled with catnip – you’d just need to embroider the eyes rather than using buttons.
All materials and templates will be provided – you can choose your colours out of many options (maybe choose pink/purple/red/heart design socks?).
Creating your plushie will involve hand sewing, cutting out, stuffing and sewing eyes, nose, mouth and whiskers on. Fairly straightforward but you do need basic skills already.
Instructions will be given in an easy to follow format so no-one gets left behind, as well as written out in easy to follow step by step instructions. If you are a super speedy sewer you can then zoom ahead.
This workshop is suitable for all ages 10 plus, as long as you can handle a needle and thread and tie knots, so come and get creative with colour under the supervision of our inquisitive cats.
There is an ‘Attending not joining in’ ticket for £15 if you want to bring a youngster or friend/partner/parent but one of you doesn’t want to join in – you still get to hang out with the cats, and get your first drink included too.
Each workshop includes a complimentary drink and plenty of cat interaction time, with further drinks and sweet treats available to purchase too.
