The Best New Shops in Norwich for Christmas Shopping

Christmas is about sharing, getting together, celebrating and exchanging lovely gifts – which ultimately means more shopping than usual! And if you already know Norwich, you’ll know that its compact street pattern means we can shop independently and at high street favourites for everything, be it gorgeous gifts, party outfits or indulgent food and drink. Norwich definitely has the best of both worlds when it comes to retailers! So how happy are we that so many new stores have opened in the last year that are perfect for Christmas shopping. Read on to get the low down and make sure you don’t miss out!

Lucy & Yak, Back of the Inns

A new Lucy & Yak store is opening just in time for Christmas! Lucy & Yak is a popular clothing brand, known for its comfy and stylish dungarees and sustainable and eco-conscious approach to fashion. If you’re after some trendy clothes, this store should be top of your list. Plus, it will be one of only three physical Lucy & Yak stores to exist! Talk about exclusive. Opening 19 November.

Gyre & Gimble, The Royal Arcade

There’s been a flurry of exciting shops opening in The Royal Arcade this year. And Gyre & Gimble may just be one of our favourite new additions to the city. As well as hosting a gin academy, where you can create your very own gin (£75 per person), there is also a wide range of spirits, wines and more to purchase, including Norfolk-made alcohol. We love the Gyre & Gimble Callooh Callay coastal gin – an incredibly flavoursome gin with prominent notes of salty samphire, floral lavender and fresh citrus (£35).

Izola, The Royal Arcade

Izola is a skincare, fine fragrance and grooming store that has recently made a home in The Royal Arcade. Inside the store you’ll find fragrances, hair care, skincare, grooming products, shower and bath gels, beard oil and more. Time for a little pampering we think!

JUNI & CO, The Royal Arcade

JUNI & CO is a beauty store with a difference. Run by a mother-daughter team, JUNI & CO bridges the gap between premium and ethical beauty, with a range of plastic and cruelty-free JUNI lip products alongside a carefully curated selection of other beauty and wellness brands. And that’s not all – you can book experiences at the store too. Including a 1:1 makeup masterclass and a 3D Skin Health Assessment (both experiences last 45 minutes, £75 per person with £25 redeemable spend on products).
