Calling all nature lovers!
The historic Bishop of Norwich’s House is set to unveil its hidden horticultural treasures to the public as CPRE Norfolk hosts an Open Garden Event on Sunday, 2nd June 2024 from 1pm-4.30pm.
Nestled in the heart of Norwich, the Bishop of Norwich’s House boasts a rich heritage and even more stunning gardens. Guests will have the chance to wander through 900-year-old landscaped 4-acre gardens, adorned with vibrant blooms and centuries-old trees. From manicured lawns to secluded woodland and jungle pathways, each corner offers a glimpse into the timeless beauty of the English countryside.
In addition to exploring the gardens, attendees can look forward to a variety of family friendly activities and attractions throughout the day. From talks by CPRE Norfolk trustees to activities for children and a range of stalls, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Refreshments will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going towards the fundraising efforts.
Entry is free for CPRE Norfolk members, children under 16 years old when accompanied by an adult and wheelchair users.
Adult entry is just £5 for non-members.
All proceeds will directly benefit CPRE Norfolk which is dedicated to protecting and enriching the incredible rural landscapes across the region.
Tickets for the Open Garden Event at the Bishop of Norwich’s House are available in advance online or at the door on the day of the event.
