Do you love writing? Looking for a creative way to spend your weekends? Aged 8-12 years? Learn to write and perform your own poems at the Saturday Series, led by Lewis Buxton and Daisy Henwood.
Every Saturday morning (10am-12noon) for five weeks you will play games, eat snacks, get to know other young writers, and learn how to write and perform your own poetry. Every session will be different — we’ll look at how to craft a perfect line, how to write poems for the people you love, and how to make an audience laugh. There’ll even be an (optional) opportunity to perform alongside a professional poet on Saturday 18 March.
