Show of Hands, comprising singer-songwriter Steve Knightley and multi-instrumentalist Phil Beer are A-listers of the folk, roots and acoustic scene. Their songs have become anthems in the genre and, with six hugely successful Royal Albert Hall shows and myriad national and international festival appearances under their belts, they continue to dominate the genre.
Now, after thirty remarkable years on the road, Show of Hands perform their final tour with Miranda Sykes. ‘Full Circle, Part 1’ is the celebration of a much-loved collaboration with singer and bass player Miranda which started 20 years ago on the 2004 summer festival circuit and is the last chance to see the full trio perform on tour.
The band is excited to take this opportunity to reflect on their incredible journey and share their music with fans old and new and hope you can all join them to make it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
The first set will feature Phil, Steve and Miranda each performing solo songs, while the second set brings together their powerful, poignant and moving songs, many of which have become classics of the genre that audiences have come to know and love.
