UEA Choir and Symphony Orchestra: Verdi and Rachmaninov


UEA Choir and Symphony Orchestra and are pleased to announce their upcoming Autumn Concert ‘Verdi and Rachmaninov’.

The combined forces of choir and orchestra, consisting of over 170 students, staff and members of the local community, all under the baton of Stuart Dunlop, will be performing Sergei Rachmaninov’s ever-popular Piano Concerto No 2 in C minor, Arrigo Boito’s captivating Mefistofele: Prologue In Heaven and Giuseppe Verdi’s dramatic Stabat Mater and Te Deum (from his Four Sacred Pieces).

The soloist in the Rachmaninov is the celebrated Norfolk pianist and UEA Alumnus Will Fergusson.

Tickets cost £5 – £13 and are available to purchase: online from www.uea.ac.uk/uea-life/campus-life/campus-facilities/music-centre/whats-on/buy-tickets, or on the door (card or cheque only).

The concert starts at 7:30pm and doors open at 6:45pm.
