Britons Arms

Cathedral Quarter

The Britons Arms is a small independent coffee shop and restaurant trading on beautiful Elm Hill, which prides itself on serving the best local produce, partnering with local food and beverage producers around Norfolk.

There’s a wide selection of loose leaf teas, cafetiere and machine coffees and soft drinks. As well as home made cakes, snacks, breakfasts and lunches and, at the weekends, evening meals. The Britons Arms are also licensed, and serve a range of wines, beers, ciders and spirits with meals. On Sundays, a delicious roast dinner is served from twelve till three. If you’re looking for a real hidden gem of Norwich, the Britons Arms courtyard is a beautiful place to unwind with a glass of something sparkling.

Britons Arms also offer afternoon tea, which is a must-have, and great value too, available at just £14.99 for one and £28 for two. Each afternoon tea comes with finger sandwiches, sausage rolls, pickles, mini desserts including raspberry cheesecake, salt caramel brownie, trifle, and shortbread biscuits. All of this is served with a slice of sponge cake, a fruit or cheese scone from the counter, and a pot of loose leaf tea or a cafetière of coffee. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available.
