The sell-out Ghost Stories by Candlelight returns to the National Centre for Writing with four brand-new spooky stories from award-winning writers. This year’s production will draw you into the secretive corners of the East and West of England, where ghosts of the past have tales to tell. Just don’t let the lights go out!

Create and take home your own cuddly zombie cat plushie at The Cat House!
This Halloween, why not join a spooky cat craft session at The Cat House? There’s Spooky Cat Crochet (23 October), which is purr-fect for both beginners and those with experience. Or how about Zombie Cat Sock Plushie Making (29 October)? From a pair of fuzzy socks (all materials provided), you’ll create a cosy plushie in a colour of your choice!
And to celebrate this spooky season, The Cat House is Halloween Evening Extravaganza promises a fun-filled evening of black cat bingo, quizzing and more!

Whodunnit? It’s up to you to find out at the Maids Head’s popular Halloween Murder Mystery Dinner– including a three-course meal and entertainment from the Foul Players! The Ministry of Magic has appointed a new minister. But corruption is rife and so he’s employed ‘The Poisoner of Azerbaijan’ to solve the problem of his opponents. But who is the ‘Poisoner’? Bloghaus of Horrors is always a sell-out!
Following last year’s sell-out show, Bloghaus of Horrors returns to Norwich Arts Centre on Halloween night! This thrilling night of music includes a line-up of live bands and DJs- from a Britpop DJ set by Charmless Men to indie hits and electro bangers from Bloghaus Haus Band. Think Klaxons to Daft Punk, CSS to La Roux. And, of course, fancy dress is encouraged!
