Julian of Norwich (1343 – 1416)
Medieval writer and mystic Julian of Norwich was the first woman to be published in the English language. ‘Revelations of Divine Love’ was written following a series of 16 visions from God. Julian was an anchoress living in St Julian’s Church where visitors and pilgrims still come from all around the world. You can find out more here.

- Visit The Julian Shine in St Julian’s Church which is open for FREE, 7 days a week, 9am – 6pm, as well
- The Julian Centre is located next door to the church. Private group tours available.
