Outdoor dining in Norwich

Outdoor dining venues in Norwich & Norfolk

Following the Prime Minister’s roadmap announcement, bars and restaurants will be allowed to open on 12th April 2021 as long as outside space is available. You will not be able to meet other households inside, but you will be able to have a catch up in a group of 6 over a meal with a cold beer or cocktail – the choice is yours!  We’ve done all the research for you, and found some of the best venues offering outdoor dining in Norwich and Norfolk. So get ready and head outside and of course, don’t forget: ‘hands, face and space’.

Bowling House

Located in Dereham Road in Norwich City Centre, the Bowling House is back with an outdoor eating and drinking area on 12 April. Come down with your family, friends or your chosen group of 6 and enjoy great food, beer, cocktails, wine and more! Book here.

Gonzos Tea Room

The heated rooftop bar at Gonzo’s Tea Room is one of the best places in Norwich for social distancing meet ups. The outdoor area is heated and the cosy booths are separated to allow social distancing. You can indulge in the best and biggest homemade burgers, and enjoy their selection of cocktails!

Mysabar

A Scandinavian style beer garden offering food and drink from local favourites is back this Spring with even more businesses getting involved. Last winter, Moco Kitchen, The Urban Eatery, Figbar, Salt and Kofra all got involved and we are expecting similarly great eateries this time round. Tickets to this event are FREE but the capacity is very limited, with most tickets selling out within minutes of going live last year! Click here to book.

We will be updating the above list over the next few weeks and some dates might change if the lockdown criteria is not met.
