When you’re looking for a fun way to spend your afternoon, chances are a bottomless brunch springs to mind! There’s something very tempting about a leisurely feast with a glass (or two!) of fizz- or even a cocktail or Guiness when you’re here in Norwich!
From local gems with Mediterranean mezes to long-standing favourites full of Caribbean flavour. If you’re spending time amongst friends, celebrating a birthday, hen or stag, or simply want to enjoy yourselves with delicious food and drink, read on for our guide to the best bottomless brunch spots in Norwich!
Bottomless brunch is a great excuse to get together with friends
Another go-to for bottomless brunch is Turtle Bay (£41.50, 2 hours). This laid-back Caribbean restaurant is perfect for friends with different tastes- their entire cocktail menu is included, as well as mocktails, prosecco, draught Red Stripe, soft and hot drinks! Pair this with any brunch dish, burger or wrap and you’ll soon be munching down on a roti wrap with a refreshing rum punch. Actually, make that a Koko Kolada. Or why not try a few?
When it comes to bottomless brunch, some of us prefer lunch over breakfast. That’s where Middletons comes in (£36.95pp, 2 hours). There’s classic steak frites (add an egg if you’re feeling really hungry), beer battered haddock, or perhaps buttermilk chicken takes your fancy. Then it’s time to get in the spirit (see what we did there?) with bottomless Cosmopolitans, Strawberry Daiquiris, spritzers and more.
You can’t go wrong with a delicious brunch and refreshing selection of cocktails
As one of the newest bottomless brunches in Norwich, the Maids Head offers a moreish menu accompanied by a sophisticated choice of cocktails (£40pp, 90 minutes, Saturdays only). In the hotel’s chic WinePress restaurant, you can enjoy the likes of the Maids Head Benedict (crispy chicken, creamy garlic mushrooms or brandy cured salmon) or banana and Biscoff waffle (with banoffee ice cream) whilst sipping on a Hugo Spritz, Dark and Stormy or Maids Head Collins. Wow!
At Mr Postle’s Apothecary, you can expect small plates packed with flavour (£25pp, 90 minutes, Thursday – Saturday). Think indulgent cheeses, cured meats, homemade pitta and more (plus, vegan and vegetarian options, too). For refreshment? Crisp Italian Prosecco (bottomless, of course). And while you’re here, it would be rude not to add on one of their magical potions (aka cocktails)!
From burgers to breakfasts, there’s plenty of delicious dishes to choose from
Where else can you taste an array of mouthwatering meze plates for bottomless brunch? Gem of Norwich’s ‘Booze Brunch’ (£29.90pp, 90 minutes) offers each guest one bottle of prosecco or wine (or soft drinks!) to sip on while you savour 8 sharing meze plates. And for any veggies out there, Gem’s also known for its fantastic meat-free food. From tzatziki and babaganush to borek and falafel, you’ll want to try every one of these eastern mediterranean-inspired dishes.
Bottomless brunch in stunning surroundings, anyone? You’ll find Cosy Club in the grand old National Provincial Bank building in the heart of the Lanes. Simply upgrade your brunch for bottomless breakfast cocktails like mimosas and Bloody Marys- we’ve got our eye on a Limoncello elderflower spritz! These drinks are a refreshing accompaniment to the likes of syrup-drenched pancakes, smashed avocado or a hearty breakfast (£25pp excluding food, 90 minutes).
How about a bottomless brunch in luxurious surrounds?
For a bottomless brunch that takes you to tropical shores, try Revolución de Cuba (£35pp, 90 minutes, Friday – Sunday). Start gently with a mimosa and salsa & chips, before mix and matching from a selection of drinks like citrussy Aperol spritzes, fruity sangria or smooth San Miguel. And with dishes that include chorizo hash, breakfast quesadillas and huevos rancheros, it’s easy to get into the fiesta-mood here!
If you’re searching for an authentic Irish pub in the heart of the City of Stories, look no further than Butcher Bhoy! So, what could be more fitting than bottomless Guinness? On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, you can tuck in to Butcher Bhoy’s bottomless brunch (£13.95pp, 90 minutes), enjoying prosecco, cocktails, wine and draughts (including that all-important stout). Plus, with juicy Bun X burgers and fries on the menu, you can count us in!
