An evening of empowering new dance, produced by EncoreEast. Devised with dancers aged over 50 from across the country, working with leading professional choreographers.
In this innovative collaboration, Norwich dancers from Cadenza, led by Laura Anderson, have joined forces with dancers from Ipswich, London and beyond, to create a new performance under the artistic direction of renowned choreographer Luca Silvestrini (Protein Dance).
The result is a celebration of creative communities and over 50’s dance, which opens at DanceEast, Ipswich before touring to Norwich Playhouse and The Place, London.
The project features dancers from Cadenza, EncoreEast, The Place Dancers and Damn Fine Dance, in collaboration with Laura Anderson, Alethia Antonia, Alleyne Dance, Molly Wright and Luke Birch, under the direction of Luca Silvestrini.
Home from Home is devised and produced by EncoreEast; supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, co-commissioned by EncoreEast, DanceEast, The Place and Norwich Theatre.
