Joep Beving is a Dutch composer and pianist based in Amsterdam who considers his work simple music for complex emotions. Given the sparse, emotionally vulnerable nature of his music, his physically imposing appearance (six-foot ten height with long hair and a beard) stands in sharp contrast to his languid, haunting creations.
Jo is an old dancer, George an old clown. Two middle-aged lives in an eclectic, spontaneous, predictable and random decline. With 100 years of life experience between them, they’re armed with a soundtrack of floor-fillers, a book of raffle tickets and a sprinkling of eco-friendly glitter. Join them for a joyful dose of dance, theatre, circus and silliness as they negotiate middle-life together with humour, tenderness and outlandish optimism.
