This year the festival opens in spectacular style at Norwich Playhouse, where cult classic The Phantom of the Opera will come roaring to life with a brand-new live score by Minima. Across the fortnight, Cinema City will once again host a packed programme of award-winning shorts, feature films, and filmmaker Q&As.
Highlights include Todd Haynes’ acclaimed Far From Heaven and the cult classic Kinky Boots. Also screening High Wire, DJ Ahmet and Alpha, alongside Ridley Scott’s iconic Thelma & Louise — presented in stunning 35mm.
