Maids Head Hotel

Cathedral quarter

The award-winning and independent Maids Head Hotel is known to be the oldest hotel in the UK, with a history dating back over 800 years. Perfectly located in the heart of Norwich, in the Cathedral Quarter, the AA 4 Star Silver Hotel boasts charm and character throughout, along with a 2 AA Rosettes Restaurant, the WinePress, which offers the perfect dining experience.

As part of a multi-million-pound investment all bedrooms have been refurbished in their own unique and contemporary style.
In 2019 the Maids Head proudly won Best Independent Hotel and Investing in the Future at the EDP Norfolk and Suffolk Tourism Awards.

The Maids Head Hotel has acquired a rare 1950 Bentley Mark 6, left hand drive convertible. Hotel guests are offered the opportunity to take a spin around the City with a chauffeur who will point out iconic places of interest. This 30 minute drive will take in the Cathedral Close, the river, St James Hill as well as the Castle.
