Norwich Baroque

Norwich

Norwich Baroque is a flexible ensemble that plays music of the 17th and 18th centuries on period instruments. With a special love for pairing international favourites like Bach, Handel, and Vivaldi with lesser-known creative voices from the past – especially those with a local connection, like John Playford.

In addition to a regular concert series at St. Peter Mancroft, the group also collaborate regularly with the Norwich Cathedral Choirs for an annual performance of Handel’s Messiah during the Christmas season, as well as performances of the Bach Passions just before Easter.
