The Catholic Cathedral is one of the finest examples of great Victorian Gothic Revival Architecture in the UK and is the second largest Catholic Cathedral in the country. The beautiful stained glass and stonework make it one of the most impressive architectural buildings in Norfolk.
Admire the surroundings, take in the peace, listen to a recital or take a tour. There is no entry fee, but donations for the upkeep of this fine building are gratefully received.
The Narthex is an annexe to the Cathedral and hosts a bustling Garden Cafe serving a delicious selection of home-made sandwiches, lunches, and snacks as well as cold and hot drinks and alcoholic beverages. Function rooms are also available to hire, with such beautiful surroundings and attentive team your event will be memorable.
The beautiful sheltered Cathedral gardens are situated just outside the cafe and are a perfect place to meet, have lunch, relax and admire the gothic architecture around you. Children will love running around and exploring the nooks and crannies. There is also a well-stocked gift shop.
